Reflecting on Twin Sun's 2025
We have a lot to celebrate!
2025 was a year of growth at Twin Sun. 30% revenue growth. Three new team members. Three promotions. Two babies. A hackathon win. Speaking engagements across Nashville.
Growth is exciting. It's also revealing. It shows you where your systems are strong and where they need work. This year, we invested as heavily in how we work together as we did in the work itself. We started implementing EOS in July, and it's already making us a better team.
Here are some great things that happened this year
- We won the Lightspeed hackathon, launching App-Stats as a result 🏆
- Objective Zero was accepted into the AWS & Deloitte Social Entrepreneur Accelerator Program 🏆
- Gunnar, Justin, and Maggie joined the team - welcome to Twin Sun! 👋
- Both Chris and Wilfred welcomed new babies to their families! 👶
- Sarah was promoted to Lead Developer 🎉
- Austin and Jack were promoted to Development Manager 🎉
- Maggie got married! 💍
- We began implementing EOS with Jim Thornton 📈
- Jami presented an AI "feature drafting" capability at AI Tinkerers, which preceded similar work later released by GitHub and Claude 🤖
- DL spoke at Vanderbilt to senior CS students about teamwork 🧑🏫
- DL also spoke at AI Tinkerers about generating slop-free social media posts 📱
- Austin appeared on the Emerging Leaders in Tech podcast with Dr. T 🎤
- Jack taught his Advanced SQL course for the second time at Nashville Software School 👨💻
- Chris and DL hosted a StartupNash webinar, "Don't Build An App!" explaining how to validate before you build 💡
- Our marketing partner Michael Shoup took the main stage at Nashville AI Week, showcasing our work on Podcraftr 🎙️
- DL, Jack, and Gunnar attended Nashville Entrepreneur Day to support Dr. Ronya Green and Care Nexus 🚀
- Brandon started the Goodman Racing Team 🏁
- Sarah and Sean moved across the country to Seattle 🌊
- Caleb, Chris, DL, and Jami attended 3686 and ran into our old friend Nora, who is now building PupPilot! 🐕
- We supported Objective Zero at Face The Fight Night at the Grand Ole Opry 🇺🇸
- DL hosted a table at one of Matt Vaughn's fun Little Table events 🍽️
- Gunnar hit a 500-day Duolingo learning streak and worked on a confidential product featured at CES 📚
- DL pranked Jack with a malicious USB device disguised as a copy/paste keyboard 😈
- Justin built a standing desk out of 6ft wide beech wood atop a powered adjustable frame 🪵
- We had our annual Twin Sun holiday party at The Game Terminal! 🎮
- We helped our clients achieve their technology goals ❤️
Looking forward to 2026
With growth comes the need for better systems. That's why implementing EOS has been one of the most important things we've done this year.
In July, we began working with EOS Implementer Jim Thornton. The results have been excellent. Our team is more aligned, communication is clearer, and we're making better decisions faster. For you, that means clearer accountability on your projects and more predictable delivery.
We're excited to continue refining these systems in 2026!
